27 weeks at Christmas!!

Christmas!!! It came and went so fast! This was Tim and my first Christmas as married folk and our only Christmas alone! Next year Baby will be with us! So we went a little overboard with our gift giving for each other (and family!!) but it was fun! I'm sure next year will be more focused on the baby :) Everything is going along smoothly, thank goodness. I'm feeling really good, feeling her kicking and flipping, and I'm eating anything and everything I want! I had a minor scare with a little fall in the snow but everything was fine. It just scared the living crap out of me! I'm having the pregnancy "dropsies" which I hear is pretty common too. Everything I pick up falls out of my hands! I finally heard her heartbeat at home for the first time using the home heartbeat monitor that my sister is letting me borrow. It is so cool! I'm addicted now!

This picture is a little deceiving because I took it about 3 weeks ago. I am definitely popping out more in the belly area. I will have to get an updated one posted for you to see.

This is my first year to bake cookies all by myself without my Grandma helping me. We've been doing Christmas cookies together for the last 13-15 years. It began with me helping Grandma and she did most of the work. Within the last 8 years it turned into me doing most of the work and Grandma supervising (she was 100 years old when she passed away!). Go Grandma! She was definitely with me in spirit. I still have a lot of practicing to do to get as good as she was though. Miss you!

I couldn't resist putting my little babies on here. This is the day they got groomed. I gave Elvis a "home trim" on his ears. He looked like a girl in this photo. You'll see below how manly he looks with his ears trimmed up :)

Ava couldn't have cared less about her gifts. All she wanted to do was chase Elvis around the room. Elvis couldn't have cared less about Ava and all he wanted was his ball to chase after!!

24 weeks!!

I am officially 24 weeks now! It has really been an easy pregnancy so far without any complaints at all. I have a major sweet tooth which I willing oblige to every craving. At my doctor appointment yesterday, I weighed in at +19 lbs!, however when I do my naked weigh in at home I have gained only 16lbs. So I think I am going to go with that number :). I am feeling her move all the time and can actually tell when she's napping since it's the only time she isn't active. Apparently she is the size of an ear of corn (according to babycenter.com). And apparently my uterus is the size of a soccer ball.. that may explain my giant gut!! Here's my 24 week belly pic!

It's Gonna Be A Girl!!!!

We are excited to say that we are expecting a little girl on March 28, 2011!! At our 20 week ultrasound, we were able to see everything that we were supposed to see. All of her organs, arms, legs, fingers, toes, everything! Grammy and Nana came along with us to see all the excitement. She was very active the entire time they were taking the pictures... one of her favorite things she does is kick! After the ultrasound, we invited our family over to find out the sex by giving everyone a cupcake with a pink center! Very fun! Check out the pics below!

19 weeks!

Lots of stuff has happened since the last posting! For one, Tim and I went on a mini vacation to Cape Cod, MA. It was great to get away and relax. It's beautiful up there in the fall, however I think these pictures show how beautiful Garrett County is too! Look at how cute Elvis and Priscilla are in the above pic! It's almost like they are professional models!!!

Chatham, MA in Cape Cod

Happy Halloween! Priscilla is the hot dog (which is only appropriate b/c she is such a hottie dog), and Elvis is the bumble bee.

Here is the most current picture of my baby bump! We will be finding out the sex of the baby in a few days! I can't wait. I am most excited just to see the baby moving and know that everything is A-OK. I will keep you all posted!

16 WEEKS!

Here's my 16 week belly! Getting bigger! I had a doctor visit today and everything checked out ok! I heard the baby's heartbeat this time. It was super strong at 150 beats per minute. Poor Tim cancelled a bunch of appointments so he could come and ended up not getting to hear anything! We waited so long for the doctor that the hour he blocked off came and went and he had to go back to work. Needless to say, we were super bummed about that. Next visit Tim will not miss a thing and we actually get to find out if it's a girl or a boy!!!

This is a picture is of my niece, Ava. She looks like she is concentrating VERY hard! hahaha. Cute. She's probably just thinking "get that thing out of my face unless you want to pay me for that pic". We take so many pictures of her is unreal. She probably thinks she's a model. She's super excited about her cousin's upcoming arrival! She will be 1 year old by then!!

2nd Trimester!!!

We've made it to the second trimester!!! That means I feel like myself again (with a bigger belly!). This week, week 15, I definitely popped out in the tummy area. You'll see in the pics below. I feel great though and can't complain about anything. I haven't had any major morning sickness and no other problems (knock on wood). We have 4-5 more weeks until we can find out if it's a boy or a girl! I just want it to be healthy!!

Here are a few pics. Look at how the baby can already wave "hi" at the age of 8 weeks!!! The arrow is pointing to the arm bud. So cute!

Below is a pic of my belly at 6 weeks. Barely a little bump... oh how I already miss my flat belly.

And this pic is now at week 15. I know!!! Huge belly already!!! Maybe this major sweet tooth needs to be controlled just a bit more or else I am going to be gigantic!
