Myla Presley has arrived!!! She couldn't be more cute, as you can see from the pictures below. After 2 days of induction, she finally got here via C-section. She was stubborn! We went in on Wednesday evening to start the process and she didn't feel like coming out until we made her come out on Saturday March 19th! My little princess is already two weeks old. She weighed 6 lbs 1.6 oz and 19 inches at birth but got down to 5 lbs 6 oz. We're fattening her up now and she is a solid 6 lb 8 oz! We are all settling into our new life with Myla definitely taking center stage. It's amazing how fast they change. She is growing every day right in front of our eyes, it's crazy! She's a really good baby, I have lucked out! Here are pics below of our hospital adventure.

Here is my very final belly photo! I'm officially 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant here. I was ready to have her out of me!!

Mommy and Daddy anxiously awaiting for some action! Little did we know at this point that it wasn't going to happen for two more days! And let me tell you, the beds in Labor and Delivery are not made to be slept on for long periods of time. It felt like sleeping on a deflated air mattress. And since I had to sleep on my sides, my hips were dying. I kicked Tim off the couch and made him sleep in the bed a few times. He was a trooper though!

Aunt Alison came to visit, hoping to see her little niece!

Hot Mama! I had to show off my hospital gown. I think some of the nurses thought I was high maintenance because I brought my own hospital gowns. But wouldn't you rather wear something that actually fits and doesn't have other people's goo on it?

Grammy and Grandpappy... bored! When is Myla coming? They came everyday even though it was super boring.

Nana was even there. Doesn't everyone look enthused? The gift shop was sold out of all the magazines after my stay since that was the only entertainment. The TV happened to be tied up with March Madness (TIM!!).

The calm before the storm! At this point things were going super slow. I was having contractions but nothing to amount to anything. It wasn't until 5am when my water broke that all hell broke loose and the pain really came then! I may be all smiles here, but by 2pm Friday afternoon I was NOT smiling.

Myla Presley born at 1:16am on 3/19/11
Seriously, could she be a cuter newborn? So pretty!

Proud Daddy with Myla while Mommy is getting stitched up. I was such a nervous Nellie. I'm not a big fan of being strapped down while being completely awake. I have a little claustrophobia issue and the whole time all I could do was concentrate on what they were saying about Myla. It was a fast process, thank goodness and my doctor was a pro. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff at WMHS... the labor and delivery nurses and the postnatal care nurses all were wonderful. And of course, I love Dr. Wolford. Afterall, he safely got my baby girl out!

Sorry, I don't know why this picture got turned sideways. This is my first good glimpse of Myla. I was so relieved to have her safely here with us! And she was so pretty! I just remember thinking how happy I was to see she was healthy!

This may be the only picture where she wasn't p-ssed off! I would be too if I went from a nice warm environment to a cold bright room! My baby girl! So cute!

Ahhhh,,,, warm covers and cuddles.

Grammy and Pappy's first cuddles with Myla.

Aunt Alison! All three of them, my mom, dad, and Alison, came back in to see Myla. They were there from 12:30 until about 3ish waiting to see the new addition.

First family photo!!! :-)

Nana's meets Myla!

My absolute favorite picture of Myla from the hospital. She looks so cute!

Daddy and Myla playing a game on his iPhone. She looks very comfy! Afterall, there's nothing like daddy cuddles!

My baby girl is so tiny! This is our last day there and we're getting ready to get her hospital photos taken. Little did she know that she would be getting pictures taken constantly from the time she was born!

Let's go home! I've been there for 5 days!

Again, I'm not sure why they turned the picture but this is Myla's first trip in the car. She's well strapped in and even has a few friends to give her company on the ride home!

This is Myla after 1 week. I love seeing her smile and grin even if she doesn't know she's doing it. She always grins after she's done eating. Tim and I can't figure out who she looks like yet but I think she looks like me (hee hee). Regardless, she is sooooooo cute and pretty. Are we biased though? I don't think so!
This is her first sponge bath. She didn't really like the experience and still hates it.
There will be more pictures to come! We're constantly taking them so check back for updated Myla pics!!
